American Warrior, an oil industry facility, was battling ongoing rodent issues—multiple mice infestations and a particularly destructive rat that chewed through aircraft control knobs. Traditional traps failed to catch the culprit, and messy bucket traps added odor and cleanup headaches. Searching for a better solution, they discovered the A24. Once deployed in the hangar, the results were immediate: the elusive rat was eliminated. Since then, rodent activity has dropped significantly, damage has been avoided, and maintenance time reduced. The A24’s ease of use, effectiveness, and cleaner operation have made it a reliable tool in American Warrior’s pest control strategy.
What specific rodent-related issues were you facing before using our product?Multiple mice infestations and having to clean out small traps of mice regularly.
How did you come to choose our rodent control solution for your facility?
Looking online for something that was better than the bucket mousetraps as they get filthy, and they stink terrible.
Can you describe how the product helped prevent or reduce potential damage from rodent activity?
The knobs were getting chewed off in our airplane. I added bait everywhere and it was getting consumed but none of the traps were catching any mice. I brought one of the A24 traps from the workshop to the hanger and boom DEAD RAT! His fat ass couldn't fit in the little traps so he remained lucky until the A24 was deployed.
What kind of financial savings or cost reductions have you experienced since implementing our product (e.g., saved repairs, avoided health risks, etc.)?
I like that we no longer have to worry about any chewed wiring on the airplane. The A24 doesn't smell as bad as the bucket traps and is way easier to clean than the metal live traps.
How did the labor requirements and time spent on rodent control change after switching to our product?
You just have to be close to the room the traps in and your phone will notify you if you need to remove anything. Way easier to do that than to open a bucket or a stinky metal trap.
What kind of results have you seen in terms of rodent control effectiveness since using the product?
For some reason it's important to get the trap in the perfect spot or it won't work. Once in the right place the mice literally crawl on top of dispatched mice to get there turn at a ram to the head.
How has our product contributed to the overall maintenance and safety of your facility?
Airborne mice particulate has been reduced significantly.
Were there any specific areas of your facility that saw the most benefit from the use of our product?
The hangar had the most benefit from the A24 because of the fact we didn't realize it was a rat that was eating the knobs off of the King Air.
How easy was it to integrate the product into your existing rodent management strategy?
Easier than messing with bucket traps and checking on them constantly hoping they don't stink.
What feedback have you received from staff or other stakeholders about the impact of our product on rodent control?
The excitement from everyone after the big ass Rat was finally dispatched was phenomenal. That dirty rat went from a "Multiple mouse conspiracy" to stardom as everyone was sharing his picture.
Would you say that using our product has improved the overall environment or public perception of your facility?
No-one likes rodents and the lack of pest shows a organized and well-maintained facility.
How do you plan to continue using or expanding the use of our rodent control solution in the future?
We have actually reduced the number of traps around the facility due to the reduced maintenance and accuracy of the A24. Fewer A24's can handle a larger job than any other mouse trap I've ever used.
Would you recommend our product to other facility managers facing similar rodent issues? Why or why not?
I would totally recommend the Good Nature traps. After pre-flight checks on the King Air Aircraft stored in a well-maintained hangar proved something was eating the knobs off the control panels, we deployed a massive number of traps. We put bait all over the place and the bait disappeared every night and I didn't even get any action on the eight metal traps and one bucket trap. After a rude comment in the coffee room to me amount how long I was planning on feeding the mice in the hangar a very irritated Kelly King went to the Hangar with an A24. One week later it was evident that we were not looking for multiple mice, just one lucky rat that got into the hangar and had an extreme taste for control knobs. Comes to find out he also liked Good Nature's peanut butter lure, and he was not too fat to get in the A24 like he was for the other traps he could not fit into.
